Thank you for all you do for the community!

Former President John F. Kennedy designated May 15th as Peace Officers’ Memorial Day and the week of May 15th as National Police Week. The flag of the United States of America is to be displayed at half-staff on all government buildings on May 15th of each year.

Peace Officer’s Memorial Week was designed to honor the dedicated men and women of law enforcement who lost their lives in the line of duty. The Greensboro Police Department honors its fallen heroes with a variety of community events to recognize those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
